Freedom Rally in Boston: The Style

In my last blog post I shared my pictures from the Boston Freedom Rally. Today I would like to follow up on that and share some more style-oriented pictures. When I was choosing what to wear for the festival I decided that I would mostly be mingling with hippies and more “alternative” people. Basically, I was free to choose whatever I wanted to wear: no one would be able to judge me. I was so happy to finally air this beautiful sequin Maje jacket. I bought it in Puerto Banus (Marbella), Spain this summer and I had been dying to wear it ever since. Its not exactly every day that you can wear a sequin jacket. (Thats a lie. When in doubt dress it up!)

With the jacket I wore my favorite Rag & Bone hat- as you may have seen in earlier blog posts. I felt like it really tied the outfit together and also made it stand out more. A big thank you to Daniel for taking these shots of me :) Here I am looking at my pictures from my [new] Sony mirrorless camera. I’m obsessed with it. Seriously- obsessed.

Rebecca wore a really cool leather shirt, a psychadelic-inspired Theory silk shirt, and this AMAZING (I mean seriously amazing) bright red Borsalino hat. I loved it all! HempfestBoston-00533

Just a cute couple shot :)HempfestBoston-00558

Wearing my new Paige denim jeans. The straight leg is great for flats and sandals. I’m also looking for some 70’s inspired flared  jeans. They really knew how to flatter legs back in the day- that being said the majority of 70’s and 80’s fashion was not particularly flattering. Go-Go boots never again…
