I can’t begin to explain how happy I am.
The sun shines brightly every day, the temperature rises above 20 degrees C, and the food is magnificent. In the fall my parents bought a house up in the mountains close to Marbella. I have never seen something so beautiful. Wild horses live in these mountains, and my family saw them last time they were up here. The view is to die for- even the garage has a view. There are windows everywhere and light floods into every room.
Last night we ate in Benahavís, the culinary capital of this region. All the restaurants are rustic and unpretentious with 5 star food. I don’t remember eating better lamb. I think everything down here is doused in happiness and quality. It is definitely not difficult to live a good life here.
I wanted to wear something that reflected my mood, so before we went off to dinner my mom took some pictures of this red Enzo Costa pleated scarf I was twirling around in.
I feel like a norwegian Flamenco dancer. Look how pretty my mom and aunt are! Here’s a secret: I’m working for Mona (aunt on right) this summer! Maybe if I post these beautiful pictures of her, I’ll win some brownie points. I’ll need all the points I can get :’D Some pictures taken after dinner along the promenade. Taken this morning from the terrace the other pictures are from. So wonderful and lush. I’m excited to spend the next two weeks here. Although I’ll be studying for exams, I’ll also be tanning, riding, swimming, and going zip-lining. I can’t wait!
