This post is about our second amazing day in Copenhagen.
After the night before, we didn’t really feel up to going into Copenhagen. Instead, we had a large breakfast and lounged around the house during the day. Anna’s aunt’s house is stunning; a combination of modern and rustic design. Both her aunt and uncle have worked in Africa as doctors, so their house was also filled with lots of African masks, artwork, and pictures from their time there. After waking up at 12 – hehe- we drank litres of tea and ate lots of freshly-baked danish buns. Nothing beats that! And following the crazy night we moved our recuperation to the couch where we watched Bridget Jones’ Diary. I didn’t take any pictures during the day, but here is one of me and Anna and day before :D We tried taking a group picture. Obviously it didn’t go too well, but its the memory that counts, right? We opted for more casual looks on Saturday. I wore my butter-soft tshirt from Helmut Lang and red jacket from Iro. Then to add some height to my already 180cm tall body, I wore black suede Prada booties. Seriously, by the end of the night none of us could feel our toes. Poor Tay wore the tallest shoes and had to buy bandaids :( I couldn’t feel my three largest toes for the next week. I’m not kidding, they were completely numbed. but it was WORTH it!!! Just chilling in an Irish Pub before going out :P Anna’s a model, in case you hadn’t figured that out already. I have pretty friends C: We ate at a wonderful Spanish Tapas bare called Pinxos. We really felt like family there! The people working there ran around speaking Spanish and joking with each other. They really set the vibe for the rest of the night! I love it when my face matches my clothes :’)Sipping Mojitos :) After checking out a club called Zen, we decided that Hive was better. I don’t know how we got in- 21 age limit…but after scrutinizing us, and I mean look up and down and then up again, the woman working at the entrance said we could go in. Passport copies, never again! Seriously, what a perfect night. I think this picture sums it all up pretty well. Before leaving for the airport we had a few minutes to take some pictures. I shot these using my Fuji film. Its a great camera, but only works with a lot of light- hence all the poor quality iPhone pictures. Peace Out! And to end it all with one of my favorite pictures from the entire trip. (other than the collage, that is- but thats not going on my blog!)
I hope you enjoyed these pictures!
