As the hard-core procrastinator that I am, scrolling through fashion blogs gives me a lot of joy. Not only do I get to avoid doing my work, I also get to collect inspiration for my own style. I also won’t deny ‘ooohing’ and ‘ahhhing’ at photographs of delicious and healthy food. Here is a compilation of all the collected goodies from the past few weeks. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you will know that my all-time favorite blogger is Kristina Bazan from Kayture. Her pictures are editorial-worthy and every week she is jet setting to one city or the other. I can’t get enough of her style or blog! I really like this picture below because the ensemble is atypical but it still seems to work. I’m not an advocator for off-white with white, but it seems to work here. What do you think? Also- those Celine sunglasses. I wish I could pull off statement glasses like those! This is my favorite look! She brilliantly paired an expensive Valentino bag with affordable Zara heels. I could not tell that the heels were cheap! Goes to show that you shouldn’t underestimate budget pieces! The blue nail polish is a nice touch. I recently bought one just like that from Deborah Lipman. I’m hooked. One of my favorite looks from Altazurra. I don’t know if I would ever wear this myself, but I am drawn to the combination of those colors. Gucci f/w rtw 2014. Love the look, minus the dorky 70’s inspired glasses. Those can go. No21 has made the perfect coat. This will elevate any outfit. Fashion Toast- Rumi Neely- is the queen of laid back. Her style is polished, but slouched. Her style is like a paradox. And I want it! I’m crushing on her Alexander Wang cropped sweater.
Stella Mccartney’s F/W ready to wear collection was stunning, as usual. This is perhaps one of the most famous looks from the fall winter ready to wear collections. Kendal Jenner (from Keeping up with the Kardashians) has had an incredibly successful season. She’s sure to show up in many more high-profile runway shows to come. The sass in this Dsquared2 look though! (minus the cigarette- we don’t like that) This Saint Laurent purse is the perfect white accessory. I’m all about the jeans and pumps look, and Kayture shows how to do it best. However I’ve always thought that wearing heels in the day is a killer. How is one supposed to walk around for 5 hours in stiletto heels? It is physically impossible. Seriously, our feet swell up making it excruciatingly painful to walk. Men will never understand the pain we put ourselves through. If just they were comfortable… I wonder if there will be a foot-numbing salve in the future that prevents our feet from hurting, but doesn’t talk away all feeling. That would be perfect.
Thats all I have for fashion today, folks!
I hope you enjoyed and feel a bit more inspired. I know I do!
