On Saturday, my mom and I walked around the area of Oslo that is close to Festningen (fort). Despite the weather being grey and the ground muddy we found some incredibly beautiful places in this tiny concrete jungle that is Oslo.We walked past a stone archway that held torches on the side. Curious, we walked inside. An art exhibit was being held in the building, but what we found outside was breathtaking. Vines had grown over the entire wall and old wrought-iron chairs and tables were strewn under the shade. The light barely passed through and cast a magically eerie spell over the place.
Just because it says is +4 degrees celcius, does not mean that it is fall weather. Common, this is Oslo we’re talking about. To fight off the cold I wore this creamy knit Tory Burch turtleneck. Both sleeves and neck are woven with both fluffy and metallic thread. I love its simplicity and soft color. It makes me think of a marshmallow root, whatever a marshmallow root may be.Have you seen a more beautiful wall color? No, didn’t think so. Think Terra Cotta golden and wine red. Now combine those two. The cobblestones and old lamps just add to the charm. Look at that hair! Now ignore my face, now look at the perfect curl at the end of my hair. :)
Walking down Karl Johans Gate. The Castle is right above my head, and Stortinget and the national theatre to my right. I love Oslo so much, and the bustle in the streets on Saturdays, the stylish people walking around, and the beautiful buildings just strengthens this love.
Have a great day everyone! I hoped you enjoyed the pictures and my mom’s photography!
