Sometimes a wave of national pride hits me. More often than not it is when I am in the city, near the castle park. As of Saturday, my favorite place in Oslo is at the corner of Parkveien and Slottsparken. This is right by Litteraturhuset and a giant Åpent Bakeri. On saturday Anna, my dad, my sister and her friend, and I went to Åpent bakeri for brunch.
Ah, so fantastic. Anyways back to the national pride thing. It felt like every single person I saw that say were dressed up from head to toe in wonderful (not to mention expensive) outfits. So yes, the fashion lover inside of me felt very proud. Boo to all those people who say that Norwegians can’t dress themselves! HAHAHA okay, never mind, I understand what you mean (referring to the picture below)
Ugh I want to puke. The worst part is that her blog, TCMN, is the 5th most popular blog in Norway. This means that thousands upon thousands of girls are reading it every day. Yikes!! Okay, I have to admit, I read it sometimes to get a good laugh. Its just too ridiculous for me to even hahahahah…
I wore my classic plaid club monaco skirt, a fluffy Cathrine Hammel cropped 3/4 sweater, and a wonderful chloe bag. The picture resolution isn’t the best so its difficult to see the details, but the orange on my skirt actually matches the bag. The Royal Castle. This makes me so proud to be Norwegian. Anna looking fabulous in a Ralph Lauren bomber jacket and timberland boots. Details from the day. I bought a beautiful sweater from Acne; just getting the bag was worth the buy!
