As I was looking through my photos today, a thought hit me. Here I was looking through my old photos and I had forgotten the most important thing of all- my country! Norway is beautiful. The world famous fjords, coastline, and mountains are all breathtaking and attract tourists every summer. Seeing as I’m blogging for the first time I’ve decided that maybe you can learn a bit about me by seeing Norway through my eyes.
Called the “worlds end” in Norwegian because there is an open expanse of water from there out. It is most commonly known for its old lighthouse which used to mark land for ships far out at sea. Today it is a popular tourist destination. As a younger child, and even more now, I love walking on the rocks and climbing from the top of a steep boulder into the mushy grass at its base. There are small animals (most commonly slugs and starfish) that live in the water washed into the hallow of the rocks.
This photo exhibition featured Scandinavian models and Chanel clothing and jewelry. It was amazing to stand on the rocks and see exactly where the pictures had been taken.
Beautiful Hafjell. Every winter we spend weeks up at the cabin at Hafjell. When I’m there I can breathe, relax, and ski to my hearts desire. It is truly a magical place.
